The hospital, and the board that funds continuing care
Grantham and District Hospital sits on Manthorpe Road, NG31 8DG. It is run by a Lincolnshire acute trust, not by Sherwood Forest Hospitals, which runs Newark Hospital and King’s Mill.
The same split runs through NHS funding. Grantham is in the Lincolnshire integrated care board area, not Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. That matters for NHS Continuing Healthcare, which is the route that most often pays for live-in care where health needs are the main driver. The eligibility rules are national. The team who assess, the waiting time and the people you chase are local, and for Grantham they are Lincolnshire.

Employed, not introduced
